Position Summary:

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure, cloud services, endpoint systems, cybersecurity operations, and business applications environment. The candidate will provide day-to-day technical support across corporate, manufacturing, warehouse, and operational environments while helping ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company’s technology systems.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, security-minded, and comfortable supporting a broad range of technologies and users in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure, cloud services, and supporting systems
  • Support Microsoft 365 and Azure / Entra ID environments including user accounts, security groups, MFA, licensing, and permissions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, network connectivity, VPN access, wireless systems, and remote environments
  • Configure, deploy, and support Windows PCs, Mac systems, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Perform employee onboarding and offboarding including account provisioning, device setup, and access management
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, endpoint threats, and system incidents using Microsoft security platforms
  • Support backup systems, disaster recovery processes, and recovery testing procedures
  • Provide technical support for business systems and operational technologies including NetSuite, RingCentral, warehouse/shipping systems, and manufacturing support systems
  • Support warehouse and operational technologies including barcode scanners, label printers, and shipping integrations
  • Coordinate with internet, telecom, hardware, and software vendors for support and maintenance activities
  • Maintain technical documentation, inventory records, and system configurations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance, patching, and critical incident response as needed

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have a strong technical background with 5-10 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or related IT roles. A demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues, support end users, and manage multiple priorities independently is required.

Experience supporting small-to-mid sized business environments where individuals are required to manage a broad range of technologies and responsibilities is highly preferred.

The following specific skills are required for this position:

  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure / Entra ID environments
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, VPN technologies, and endpoint troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting desktop, laptop, mobile, and printer environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender security platforms and endpoint security best practices
  • Experience supporting backup and disaster recovery systems
  • Experience with user provisioning, access management, and MFA administration
  • Experience troubleshooting remote access and hybrid work environments
  • Experience working with business-critical applications and operational systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting ERP systems such as NetSuite
  • Experience with warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping systems
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, SharePoint, Intune, or MDM solutions
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity and compliance initiatives

Preferred Certifications:

  • CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent experience)
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator, or related Microsoft certifications preferred
  • Equivalent infrastructure, cloud, or cybersecurity certifications will also be considered

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced small team environment. A willingness to roll-up the sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done is essential. The ability to work well both individually as well as with others is required for this position. Demonstrated experience showing resourcefulness, a strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on commitments with minimal supervision are required.
